Safe Kids Connecticut
Today I attended a fantastic meeting of a state group run through the CCMC. The group is call Conecticut Safe Kids. It is run by Karen Brock. The group gets together regularly to discuss and promote prevention of childhood injuries. The topic presented today was the prevention of sports injuries. In addition to talks, the group conducts bike rodeos and child safety seat checks and programs. There will be a child safety seat program at the Southington Target on May 16, 2009.
