2 Suvs Collide, Police Question How Crash Occurred

Not every crash is straightforward, and it can be confusing to know who is responsible. If you're a passenger in a vehicle, though, there is one certain factor in your case. That is that the driver of your vehicle can be held responsible for your injuries even if he or she didn't cause the crash.

When it comes to being a passenger, you're in a good position to make a claim. You put your life into the hands of another person when you allow him or her to drive, which means that you may be able to make a claim if you're injured. If you're killed, your family may have the option to do so.

One person was killed and three were injured in a crash that took place in Connecticut. According to news out of Kent from May 6, two vehicles were traveling when an incident led to the vehicles colliding. The police are not sure what happened to cause the crash, because initial reports show that both vehicles had been in their respective lanes at the time of the collision, although that could not have been the case.

The two SUVs struck each other, leading to a 22-year-old woman being thrown from her vehicle and down an embankment. She was pronounced dead at the scene. One additional passenger and the two drivers suffered serious injuries requiring medical help. They were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

After a crash, medical treatment and recovery are essential. Once you're in a better position, it's a good idea to start your claim as soon as possible.
